Like a lot of bloggers, I got complacent over the holidays. Life got busy and I slacked on publishing daily blog posts and chalked it up to the holidays. Today I realized that it is January 20th, long after the holidays and I am still neglecting my blog. Well, enough of that I say.I decided that this is as good a time as any to start my crusade to a better blog. My blog is two years old and has served me well. But now I feel like its time to step up my game. I want my blog to work for you (and for me.) So, over the next 31 days I’m investing in Darren Rowse’s “31 Days to a Better Blog.” My goals?
- Create more valuable content for my readers.
- Develop a process that makes blogging less of a “chore” and more of a marketing tactic.
- Re-tool my blog structure so that its more user-friendly.
- Going out on a limb here…maybe make some money?
So, for the next 30 days or so, you’ll likely see a change in the blog and its content – hopefully for the better. I also plan to chronicle my journey in the hopes that it might help others jump start their stagnating blogs.
