I recently signed up for MailChimp as I needed a cheap, pay-as-you-go email distribution service and this seemed to be right up my alley. I liked MailChimp because they seemed to understand that not everyone is a spammer but that sometimes you get labeled as one because folks have forgotten that they opted into your list (this has stung me in the past). They offer double opt-in subscriptions and a decent utility for sending emails.
The icing on the cake is that they also offer really insightful guides on e-newsletter distribution – better than most that I’ve seen. Here are a few links to their resources and if you are in the market for a cheap e-newsletter solution, I highly recommend that you check them out!
